Ottawa University Offers Intelligent Design Course

Ottawa, Kansas — Ottawa University will offer a 16-week course dedicated to the discussion of Intelligent Design beginning January 17, 2006.  The course, "Intelligent Design: Neither Science Nor Theology," examines the Intelligent Design movement, and its place in the discussion of the origin of the universe.  The Intelligent Design movement is based on the premise that evolution does occur in nature but cannot explain every complex system in nature.  Those unexpected complex issues, therefore, may be credited to an Intelligent Designer.  The ultimate goals of the course are to offer information and to provide an open forum for participants to be objectively informed on the subject of Intelligent Design.
